Painted Green Art Deco Gin Cabinet in Farrow and Ball Bancha
A stunning Art Deco glazed china/gin display cabinet in Farrow and Ball Bancha Green Eggshell on cabriole legs with Black Velvet interior. Dating probably from the 1930's this elegant cabinet has a single lockable gold etched glass door and two glass shelves, in very good order with the original lock and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow & Ball's strong deep olive green ‘Bancha' Estate Eggshell and internally I have lined the back with a beautiful sumptuous black velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
Condition:
This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. The door unlocks easily with the key and opens and closes with ease, and the glass has all been fully cleaned and polished.In terms of the finish, I’m not a ‘furniture flipper’; I don’t churn out large quantities of quickly refinished pieces; I spend huge amounts of time and care and on each piece and pour parts of my soul into each item. I specialise in refinishing vintage and antique furniture and I spend hours hand picking each of my pieces locally and I don’t sell anything that I wouldn’t have in my own home. I don’t just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 5 coats of genuine Farrow and Ball Eggshell.

I do accept returns under certain circumstances, however I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):
