Things You Need to Know

In today’s online shopping market, I believe that honesty is the best policy. That’s why I've designed the most generous, fair and transparent store policy for my customers. Read the following sections to find out more about how I ship or exchange products, or about how I secure your personal data. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions!

Return and Refund Policy

I gladly accept returns and cancellations under certain circumstances: 

Contact me within: 7 days of delivery

Ship items back to me within: 14 days of delivery

Request a cancellation within: 6 hours of purchase.  Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant service and admin fees.  If a courier has been  booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (Courier charges are subsidised 50% by Yellow Pigeon Vintage)

I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected.  To avoid disappointment please double check the dimensions and the colour / finish before making your purchase and please do get in touch should you require any further information or clarity if you are in doubt.

I do accept returns where goods are faulty or damaged in transportation or if the listing on my site is materially inaccurate, misleading, or misrepresents the goods. In these cases, please provide photographic evidence to me or reject the delivery on arrival.  Please note that vintage items are not sold as new and are likely to show signs of wear and tear and this is not sufficient grounds for a refund. I am not held liable for any damages or loss sustained in transit via third parties.

I don't accept exchanges.

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalised orders

  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

  • Digital downloads

  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

  • Items on sale

 

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and for arranging courier. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Shipping

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed two man service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode within 5-7 business day of receiving your order.  I offer delivery to ground floor only and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully blanketed two man service (where possible) within Mainland UK for a small surcharge per the pricing scale below.  Third party courier service is for a two man service where possible to ground floor only, however if I'm unable to secure a two man service assistance would be required with unloading:

0 - 100 miles within 5 - 7 business days £0

100 - 150 miles up to 14 business days £30

150 - 200 miles up to 14 business days £40

200 - 250 miles up to 14 business days £50

For shipping over 250 miles,  to avoid disappointment please contact us with your postcode for an indicative quote and timeframe
