This is a superbly elegant antique gilt rectangular over mantle / wall picture frame with ornately decorated double swept frame and glass. On the reverse are the hooks for hanging the frame and I think it would make an absolutely fantastic feature in any room with a beautiful picture framed inside.
Condition:
The frame is in a beautiful worn wabi sabi / shabby chic antique condition, with some knocks, dents and cracks to the frame which are to be expected with antique pieces and in my opinion completely add to the character of this beautiful piece.
