Antique Painted Cupboard / Cabinet in Farrow and Ball Downpipe
Description:
A handsome antique painted cupboard / cabinet with single and a cupboard beneath with the original brass handles which I have cleaned and polished by hand (not painted over or replaced!) It has been carefully sanded and painted externally in Farrow & Ball’s dark and dramatic blue grey ‘Downpipe’ Modern Eggshell and on this piece looks stunning. Inside I have painted the cupboard base and lined the drawer with a beautiful complementary ebony damask paper. The cabinet would be a fabulous addition for any contemporary hallway, landing or bathroom.
Condition:
This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk or mineral paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergo a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. My pieces aren't distressed or shabby chic; they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £25 to cover card merchant service and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture)

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe.
