Art Deco Painted Gin Cabinet / Drinks Cabinet in Farrow & Ball Hague Blue
A beautiful vintage walnut Art Deco Starcraft glass china / display cabinet by S Spanglett Ltd of London standing on cabriole legs. Dating probably from the 1930's this elegant cabinet has double lockable doors and two glass shelves and is in very good order with the original locks and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow & Ball's dark and dramatic greeny blue 'Hague Blue' Modern Eggshell and internally I've lined the back with a beautiful carbon grey velvet fabric. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet. The Starcraft label can be seen on the inside of the door and the S Spanglett Ltd label can be found on the reverse of the cabinet.
Condition:
This piece is in excellent clean and tidy condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. The doors unlock easily with the original key and open and close with ease, and the glass has been fully cleaned. There may be slight age related chips on the original glass shelves, as is is common with these kind of glass cabinets.
In terms of the finish, I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of four coats of top coat.

I do accept returns under certain circumstances, however I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected. To avoid disappointment please double check the dimensions and the colour / finish before making your purchase and please do get in touch should you require any further information or clarity.
Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and arranging courier. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

My third party courier delivers furniture throughout Mainland England & Wales for a flat fee of £59.
Delivery to Mainland Scotland (excluding Highlands) is charged at a flat fee of £89.
For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, and other remote areas, please contact me for a quote.
All deliveries are subject to a handling fee of £15
