Antique Demi Lune Gin Display Cabinet in Farrow and Ball Hague Blue
Description:
A beautiful antique solid oak demi lune glass china / display cabinet standing on ball and claw feet. It benefits from two glass shelves internally with a single glazed door with glass side panels. This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order with the original lock and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow & Ball's deeply dark and rich greenish blue 'Hague Blue' Modern Eggshell and I've lined the back and base inside with a sumptuous grey velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
Condition:
This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. It has been thoroughly cleaned throughout and the door unlocks and opens and closes with ease. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. I also apply a coat of protective lacquer to high traffic surfaces.

I do accept returns under certain circumstances, however I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected.
To avoid disappointment please double check the dimensions and the colour / finish before making your purchase and please do get in touch should you require any further information or clarity.
Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is offered to ground floor only and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a trusted third party specialist furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe. Third party courier service is for a two man service (where possible) to ground floor only. Alternatively I live in Shropshire and collection can be arranged, if preferred.
