Beautiful CC41 1940's Oak Veneered Demi Lune Gin Cabinet on Cabriole Legs

A glorious vintage demi lune oak veneered CC41* glass china / display cabinet by Rufus Furniture of Shoreditch, standing on cabriole legs. Dating from the 1940's post war period, this elegant cabinet has two lockable doors and three glass shelves and is in very good order with the original lock and key still working. The oak veneers are stunning and wonderfully patterned with rich colours and I have carefully cleaned and polished the cabinet with natural beeswax polish oil and it is now in super condition. I have added a beautiful Art Nouveau style linen fabric to the back to lift the cabinet internally. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
The CC41 'Two Cheeses' Utility Furniture stamp which dates Post War furniture, along with the Rufus of London label can be found on the reverse on the cabinet.
* CC41 was the Utility Fashion and Furniture brand for strong well-designed furniture manufactured in the UK during the period 1941-1951 post World War II following a furniture shortage due to bombing, and pieces from this period are considered collectables.
Condition:
This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. There are some slight age related marks and scratches to the veneers which are only visible when viewed close up in bright light. The doors unlock easily with the original key and open and close with ease, and the glass has all been fully cleaned and polished.     I do accept returns under certain circumstances, however I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected. To avoid disappointment please double check the dimensions and the colour / finish before making your purchase and please do get in touch should you require any further information or clarity.

    Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):
