Elegant Hand Painted Vintage Demi Lune Glass Gin Cabinet / Display Cabinet

This is a beautiful vintage demi lune glass china gin / display cabinet standing on cabriole legs. It benefits from two glass shelves internally with a single glazed door with stunning gold and black etching and glass side panels and riginal lock escutcheon which I have carefully cleaned and polished by hand (not spray painted or painted over!). This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order with the original lock and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow & Ball's timeless dark and dramatic moody 'Down Pipe' Estate Eggshell and both the back and base lined internally with a sumptuous grey velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
 
Condition:
 
This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 3/4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.

    Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase.  Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £25 to cover card merchant service and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture subsidises delivery charge))

    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns for:

    Conditions of return

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.  

  • SHIPPING INFO

    Shipping:

    I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge.  To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe.  Third party courier service is for a one  man service to ground floor only and assistance would be required with unloading.  I live in Shropshire and collection can be arranged, if preferred.
