In this video I talk about the first stage in the process in refinishing a piece of furniture.  Sanding and prep work is the most essential stage to ensure a durable and quality finish in your final piece.

I'll talk you through the tools I use and different types of sandpaper, explaining the grits and I'll be working on a chest of drawers.  I'll also talk about how to check for woodworm, when paintstripper is useful and how to clean after sanding.
