Handsome Antique Victorian Painted Carved Sideboard in Farrow Ball Hague Blue
Description:
This is a handsome antique oak Victorian rustic sideboard with beautiful hand carvings adorning the drawers and front. It benefits from two drawers and two cupboards with shelves. Externally the sideboard has been carefully prepared and restored and lovingly painted in Farrow and Ball's deep and dark 'Hague Blue' Modern Eggshell, and internally I have lined the drawers and shelves with a beautiful ebony damask paper. Hague Blue has green undertones which give it a timeless dramatic feel. This piece would be a stunning focal point in a dark, dramatic dining room or drawing room.
Condition:
The sideboard is in good condition for its age and there is no damage to note apart from the customary minor knocks, dents and cracks which are to be expected with antique and vintage pieces. We don't just slap on a bit of chalk paint and call it upcycled - each of our pieces are undergo a lengthy process of preparation, and restoration being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if there are any signs of historic woodworm, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 3/4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. We don't distress our pieces, they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

We aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and we are pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. We offer delivery to ground floor only and we shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of our 100 mile radius, we would be delighted to arrange delivery within Mainland UK via a third party courier for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe. Third party service is for a one man service to ground floor only and assistance is required with unloading.
