A handsome Antique Victorian Reclaimed Oak Station bench seat with reversible cast iron back rest. It would make a fabulous characterful statement piece indoors in a hallway, alongside a kitchen table, or boot room or equally would make a lovely garden seat outside.

Condition:

This piece is in a lovely rustic wabi sabi condition with no major damage to note. As this would have originally come from an outdoor station platform, the cast iron and the wood both have age related patina as to be expected along with old paint, rust and the surface of the oak beginning to deteriorate in some small parts, however it is solid and sturdy and this forms part of the character of this beautiful one off piece. I have cleaned and sanded off any flaking and peeling paint from the wood and cleaned off the majority of green moss from the cast iron.     My third party courier delivers furniture throughout Mainland England & Wales for a flat fee of £59.

    Delivery to Mainland Scotland (excluding Highlands) is charged at a flat fee of £89.

    For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, and other remote areas, please contact me for a quote.

    All deliveries are subject to a handling fee of £15
