Don't wait for cocktail o'clock! This is a handsome mid century Scandi style vintage cocktail / drinks cabinet from the 1950's with a pull down cabinet and two drawers, each with the original pulls, which I have cleaned and polished by hand. The cabinet is mirrored fabulously internally and when the cabinet is opened a mirrored compartment for storing glasses pops up automatically. This very cool and stunning cabinet has been carefully stripped, cleaned and prepared before being primed and hand painted in Farrow & Ball's 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell. I have lined the drawers with a beautifully dark and dramatic paper. The cabinet would be a fabulous feature in a dark, dramatic dining room, drawing room or any contemporary room and perfect for entertaining.

Condition:

This piece is in very good condition and there is no notable damage, save for minor dents, knocks and imperfections which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces. I have replaced one of the mirrors, however three of the other mirrors are the original and therefore are vintage and wabi sabi in condition We don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint and call our pieces upcycled; each of our pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if required, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 3-4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. Our pieces are not distressed nor shabby chic; they will distress naturally over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

    We aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and we are pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 50 mile radius of PE8 5EB postcode. We offer delivery to ground floor only and we shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date.  If you are located outside of our 50 mile radius, we would be delighted to arrange delivery with a fully blanketed service to Mainland UK via a third party courier for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe.

    You are more than welcome to collect in person.  We are conveniently located just 10 minutes from the A1 Services at Peterborough.
