Mid Century Modern Off Black Chest of Drawers and Wardrobe Bedroom Set
Description:
A Mid Century Modern Teak Gentleman's / Compactum Wardrobe and Chest of Drawers Bedroom Set, manufactured in the UK in the 1960's/70's. The chest of drawers has two drawers, each fitted with the original brass and black enamel handles and the wardrobe is lockable with the original lock and inside has a hanging rail with shelf above. The handles have been cleaned and polished by hand and are gleaming. The set has has been carefully restored, fully prepared and beautifully hand painted in Farrow & Ball's dark and dramatic 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell which looks stunning on these pieces.
Condition:
This piece is in excellent condition and there is no damage to note apart from the customary minor knocks, dents and cracks which are to be expected with antique and vintage pieces. I have cleaned the wardrobe and chest of drawers thoroughly inside and each of the drawers are opening and closing with ease. There are some marks to the inside of the drawers; if you would like more photographs please don't hesitate to contact me. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy restoration and preparation process before being stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if required, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. I also apply a protective lacquer to high traffic surfaces.

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe if you are located outside of this radius. Third party courier service is for a one man service to ground floor and assistance is required with unloading. Alternatively I live in Shropshire and collection can be arranged if preferred.
