A stunning five drawer Mid Century Stag ‘A’ Range bow fronted dressing table (Stag catalogue number A.9) / chest of drawers with mirror. Stag’s ‘A’ Range was designed in the 1950’s and drew influences from 1930’s style. The drawers are fitted with the stunning original brass drawer pull handles which I have cleaned and lovingly polished by hand (not painted over or spray painted!). The dresser has been carefully sanded, prepared and beautifully hand painted in Farrow & Ball's romantic and muted ‘Sulking Room Pink' Modern Eggshell and on this piece looks stunning. Sulking Room Pink is a muted rose pink with a powdery feel which makes it incredibly soft and easy to use with complementary tones. It would be a fabulous statement piece for any contemporary boudoir.
 
Please note the mirror will be detached for transit and will be need to be reassembled.

Condition:
 
This piece is in excellent condition and there is no damage to note apart from the customary minor knocks, dents and cracks which are to be expected with antique and vintage pieces. Of course, the mirror, also being vintage and original isn't flawless but has a lovely light patina in places and in my opinion adds to the character of this beautifully preserved piece. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk or mineral paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy restoration and preparation process before being stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if required, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

  • SHIPPING INFO

    I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode.  Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe if you are located outside of this radius.  Third party courier service is for a one man service to ground floor and assistance is required with unloading.  Alternatively I live in Shropshire and collection can be arranged if preferred.
