Mid Century Upcycled G Plan Style Oak Chest of Drawers Bureau Desk
Description:
A Retro Mid Century Oak G Plan Style Chest of Drawers / Bureau Desk by Acme Furniture Kentish Town NW5, dating from the 1950's. It has one drawer at the top which pulls out and unlatches to become a neat fully fitted bureau desk with pigeon holes and beneath are three further drawers for storage. The chest of drawers has been carefully sanded, primed and painted in Farrow & Ball's deep and dramatic 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell. A fabulous addition to a home office, hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room. I have refinished the top drawer and oiled the inside of the desk with Danish Oil.
Condition:
The unit has been been refinished and it is in very good clean vintage condition with some minor signs of previous use and no major damage to note apart from some minor mark and scuffs and knocks to the drawer fronts and the desk. I have cleaned it thoroughly and oiled the inside of the desk with Danish oil. Unfortunately the key to the lockable storage has been lost. Please check out my 5 star reviews on Etsy and Vinterior.

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe if you are located outside of this radius. Third party courier service is for a one man service to ground floor and assistance is required with unloading. Alternatively I live in Shropshire and collection can be arranged if preferred.
