Painted Blue Antique Style Jaycee Old Charm Extending Oak Refectory Dining Table
A beautiful fully refurbished Antique Tudor style extending Jaycee Old Charm refectory oak dining table with carved frame and legs. The table has been completely stripped of the old brown lacquer and fully refurbished to reveal the beautiful grain of the oak top and I have refinished the beaufifully heavy carved frame and legs in Little Greene Paint Co's warm pretty powder blue 'James' Eggshell. When extended the table can easily seat eight places; it comes apart for ease of transit and and is very simple to put together. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a dining room and would work equally as well in a kitchen.The antique woven chairs pictured are listed for sale separately, as are the Sadler salt and peppers pots.
Condition:The table is excellent vintage condition and is strong and sturdy. There are some minor knocks and scuffs which are to be expected with vintage pieces and adds to their character. In terms of the finish, I’m not a ‘furniture flipper’; I don’t churn out large quantities of quickly refinished pieces; I spend huge amounts of time and care and on each piece and pour parts of my soul into each item. I specialise in refinishing vintage and antique furniture and I spend hours hand picking each of my pieces locally and I don’t sell anything that I wouldn’t have in my own home. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 5 coats and a lacquer to protect high traffic surfaces. Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase. Cancellations are subject to a £25 charge to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has already been booked and paid for the full cost of the delivery will be charged to the customer (Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture subsidises 50% of delivery charges)

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. I offer delivery to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative timeframe and quote. Third party courier service is for a one man service to ground floor and assistance is required with unloading.
