Painted Linen Cupboard / Tall Boy in Farrow and Ball Sulking Room Pink

A stunning antique vintage painted lockable oak veneered linen cupboard / tallboy dating from 1940's with beautiful carved doors and the original handles which I have cleaned and polished by hand. The cabinet has been carefully sanded, restored and professionally painted externally in Farrow and Ball's romantic and muted ‘Sulking Room Pink' Modern Eggshell and internally I have lined the drawers with a pale grey patterned paper. It would be a fabulous addition to a bedroom or landing as a linen cupboard, but equally could be used as a drinks cabinet.

Condition:

This piece is in excellent condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. The lock and key is original and still in perfect working order. The drawers and doors open and close with ease and it is a clean and tidy piece. In terms of the finish I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats of genuine Farrow and Ball Eggshell to ensure a high quality finish. My pieces aren't distressed or shabby chic; they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.
