Painted Mid Century Teak Cocktail Cabinet / Drinks Cabinet by Turnidge of London
Description:
This is a handsome lockable teak cocktail cabinet by Turnidge of London fitted with brand new steel hairpin legs. It benefits from two cabinets, the top one complete with the original mirrors, cocktail picks and lemon squeezer, and the bottom cabinet with one shelf. The doors have the original handles and lock escutcheon which I have cleaned and polished by hand (not painted over or spray painted!). It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow and Ball's dark and dramatic 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell. This piece would be a fabulous addition for entertaining in a dining room.
Condition:
This piece is really in excellent condition with no major damage to note apart from the mirrors which are original and in a beautifully vintage condition. Other minor nicks, dents and dings are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.

Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £25 to cover card merchant service and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture subsidises delivery charge)

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

We aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and we are pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 50 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. We offer delivery to ground floor only and we shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of our 50 mile radius, we would be delighted to arrange delivery via our furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe. Third party courier service is for a one man service to ground floor only and assistance would be required with unloading. I live in Shropshire and collection can be arranged, if preferred.
