Painted Vintage 1960's Lebus Armoire/Wardrobe in Farrow and Ball Off Black
Description:
A stunning 1960's armoire / wardrobe / tallboy by Harris Lebus with beautiful carvings at the side of each door. Inside it benefits from three shelves above a hanging rail. It also has the original stunning brass handle and lock escutcheon which I have cleaned and polished by hand. This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order, with original lock and key working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow and Ball's timeless and dramatic 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell and internally the base has been lined with a beautiful ebony damask paper. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a bedroom or landing.
Condition:
This piece is in excellent good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. My pieces aren't distressed or shabby chic; they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £25 to cover card merchant service and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture contributes 50% towards delivery)

We aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and we are pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. We offer delivery to ground floor only and we shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of our 100 mile radius, we would be delighted to arrange delivery via our furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe.
