This is an elegant vintage art deco Gentleman's armoire / wardrobe with original key and lock still working.  Inside it benefits from four shelves to the right together with a hanging rail on the left which pulls out for ease and a shoe rack beneath.  There is also the original vintage mirror, tie rack and compartment for cufflinks.  The doors have stays to prevent them from being opened too far and are complete with the original simply stunning handles which I have cleaned and polished by hand.  The wardrobe has been carefully sanded and painted externally in Farrow and Ball's timeless and dramatic 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell and internally the base has been lined with a beautiful ebony paper.  This piece would be a fabulous addition to a bedroom or landing.
 
Condition:
 
This piece is in good condition with no major damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character.  The mirror, stud rack, tie rack and shoe rack are all original and as such are in a beautifully worn condition.  I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.  My pieces aren't distressed or shabby chic; they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

    Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

    Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

    Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase.  Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £25 to cover card merchant service and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture)

    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

    Conditions of return

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

    Shipping:

    I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge.  To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe.

    Please note this is a large piece of furniture which cannot be dismantled, therefore please double check sizes with your access route.
