This is a handsome vintage painted Stag Minstrel linen cupboard / tallboy / drinks cabinet. It benefits from two drawers and two shelves. It also has the original stunning brass handles which I have cleaned and polished by hand. This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow and Ball's dark and dramatic 'DownPipe' Estate Eggshell and internally the drawers have been lined with a beautiful damask paper. Estate Eggshell is a silk finish with 20% sheen, not a matt or chalky finish. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a bedroom or landing as a linen cupboard, but equally could be used as a drinks cabinet.

Condition:

This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. Antique locks may seize and drawers may stick on occasion. These features are part of the charm of antique pieces of furniture. My pieces aren't distressed or shabby chic; they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.
