Vintage 1950's Cocktail Chair / Boudoir Chair Reupholstered
Description:This is a lovely vintage 1950's cocktail / occasional chair which I have stripped and completely reupholstered to meet fire regulations in ILIV's stunning and colourful 'Marine Manilla' fabric together with teal velvet piping and back. The chair is well made with the seat being sprung and it sits on super little legs which I have carefully sanded, prepared and painted in a Farrow & Ball's 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell to complement the brand new fabric. The chair would make a fantastic statement in any room.Condition:The chair is in excellent good condition with no damage to note. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint and call my pieces upcycled, each of my pieces undergo a lengthy process of preparation before being fully sanded, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, and primed and undercoated before painting with a minimum of 3-4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.
