Pair of Mid Century Teak 'Fonseca' Carver Chairs by Younger in Anthracite Wool

A pair of beautiful mid century teak 'Fonseca' carver chairs designed by John Herbert for Younger in 1960's. The chairs have a distinct ergonomic design with beautiful sweeping curves and newly upholstered seats in a gorgeous Anthracite Grey pure wool fabric. I have cleaned the chair frames and the seats have been completely stripped and reupholstered to meet current fire regulations. The wool fabric has been scotchguarded for protection and I have used danish oil to preserve the teak wood and bring out the beautiful rich colours of the grain.
 
Condition:
 
The chairs are in excellent vintage condition and are strong and sturdy. There are some polished in minor knocks and scuffs which are to be expected with vintage pieces and adds to their character. Check out my 5 star reviews on Etsy and Vinterior since 2016.

    I gladly accept returns and cancellations: 

    Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

    Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

    Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase.  Cancellations are subject to a £25 charge to cover card merchant services and admin fees.  If a courier has already been booked and paid for the full cost of the delivery will be charged to the customer (Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture subsidises 50% of delivery charges)

    The following items can't be returned or exchanged

    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, we can't accept returns for:

    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)

    Conditions of return

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

  • SHIPPING INFO

    Shipping:

    My third party courier delivers furniture throughout Mainland England & Wales for a flat fee of £59.

    Delivery to Mainland Scotland (excluding Highlands) is charged at a flat fee of £89.

    For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, and other remote areas, please contact me for a quote.

    All deliveries are subject to a handling fee of £15
