Queen Anne Painted Blue Dressing Table / Writing Desk in Farrow & Ball De Nimes
Description:
An elegant antique Queen Anne style ladies kneehole dressing table / writing desk with five drawers. The drawers are fitted with the stunning original handles which I have cleaned and lovingly polished by hand (not painted over or spray painted!), and inside I have lined them with a beautiful ebony damask patterned paper. The dressing table has been carefully restored, fully prepared and beautifully hand painted in Farrow & Ball's quietly elegant 'De Nimes' Modern Eggshell.
Condition:
This piece is in excellent condition and there is no damage to note apart from the customary minor knocks, dents and cracks which are to be expected with antique and vintage pieces. I have cleaned the dressing table thoroughly inside and each of the drawers are opening and closing with ease. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy restoration and preparation process before being stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if required, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. I also apply a protective lacquer to high traffic surfaces.

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. I offer delivery to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully bubble wrapped service to Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe if you are located outside of this radius. Third party courier service is for a one man service to ground floor and assistance is required with unloading.
