Refurbished 1950's Mid Century Modern E Gomme G Plan Oak Brandon Dressing Table

A Restored Mid Century Modern Oak E Gomme G Plan Brandon Dressing Table with Tilting Mirror, manufactured in High Wycombe the UK in the 1950's. It has two small drawers at the top which swing out sideways when opened fully and directly below are two larger drawers, one with the E Gomme G Plan gold stamp inside and the other fitted with dividing compartments and sumptuous black velvet. Below is a large single drawer; each of the drawers are opening and closing easily. It can be used as intended with the mirror or if preferred, the mirror could be easily removed.

Condition:

The dresser has been professionally refinished with Osmo Polyx oil and it is in very good clean vintage condition with minor signs of previous use and no major damage to note apart from some minor scuffs and knocks to the cabinet and some small marks and rings inside the drawers and to the velvet which is original to the piece. The mirror is original and and has some slight foxing which is commensurate with age. I have cleaned the dressing table thoroughly inside and the drawers are all opening and closing with ease. It is usual for vintage and antique pieces to sometimes have a slight fusty smell which is to be expected with age.
