Stunning Art Deco Painted Bow Fronted Gin Cabinet in Little Green Basalt Blue
Description:
A beautiful vintage bow fronted Art Deco glass china / display cabinet by S Spanglett Ltd of London standing on cabriole legs. Dating probably from the 1930's this elegant cabinet has double lockable doors and two glass shelves and is in very good order with the original lock and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Little Greene's timeless deep and dark 'Basalt Blue' Intelligent Satinwood and internally I've lined the back with a beautiful charcoal lgrey velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
Condition:
This piece is in excellent clean and tidy condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. It has only has two previous owners. The doors unlock easily with the original key and open and close with ease, and the glass has been fully cleaned. There may be slight chips on theoriginal glass shelves, as is is common with these kind of glass cabinets.
In terms of the finish, I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of four coats and a lacquer to protect high traffic surfaces.

I do accept returns under certain circumstances, however I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):

Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date.
