Stunning Hand Painted Grey Antique Gin Cabinet/ Display Cabinet
Description:
This is a stunning Antique Art Deco glazed china/display cabinet standing on ball and claw feet with double doors and two glass shelves. This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order with the original lock and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow and Ball's 'Downpipe' Estate Eggshell and internally I have lined the back and base with a beautiful contrasting grey velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
Condition:This piece is in good condition with no major damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. At Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture we don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on our pieces and call them upcycled - each of our pieces undergo a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 3/4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. Our pieces are not distressed or shabby chic, they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture does.

We aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and we are pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 50 mile radius of PE8 5EB postcode. We offer delivery to ground floor only and we shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of our 50 mile radius, we would be delighted to arrange delivery via our furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge. To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe.
