Description:A stunning 1960's bow fronted mid century armoire / wardrobe / tallboy with hanging rail and separate drawer. It’s a lovely and light piece and can be easily transported upstairs. The original brass handles and lock escutcheon have been cleaned and polished by hand (not painted over, spray painted, or replaced!) This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order, with the original lock and key working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and painted in Farrow and Ball's timeless and dramatic 'Off Black' Modern Eggshell and internally the base and the drawer have been lined with a beautiful ebony and silver damask paper. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a contemporary bedroom or landing.

Excellent condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk or mineral paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. My pieces aren't distressed or shabby chic; they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

    Contact me within: 14 days of delivery

    Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery

    Request a cancellation within: 2 days of purchase.  Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £25 to cover card merchant service and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture)

    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

    Conditions of return

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

    I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge.  To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe.
