This is a stunning well made three drawer chest of drawers dating from 1935 as per the label on the reverse. It has a nice simple style with the original drawer pull handles which I have cleaned and lovingly polished by hand. The chest has been carefully restored, prepared and beautifully hand painted in Farrow & Ball's dark and dramatic 'Railings' Modern Eggshell and on this piece looks stunning. Modern Eggshell is a 40% satin sheen, not a matt or chalky finish. Inside I have lined the drawers with a beautiful damask paper. The chest of drawers would be a fabulous addition for any contemporary bedroom.
 
Condition:
 
This piece is in very good condition and there is no damage to note apart from the customary minor knocks, dents and cracks which are to be expected with antique and vintage pieces. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergo a lengthy restoration and preparation process before being stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if required, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 3/4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. My pieces aren't distressed or shabby chic; they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

    We aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and we are pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. We offer delivery to ground floor only and we shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of our 100 mile radius, we would be delighted to arrange delivery via our furniture courier with a fully blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge.
