Vintage Painted Gin Cabinet / Display Cabinet / Drinks Cabinet
Description:
A stunning vintage demi lune glass china gin / display cabinet standing on cabriole legs. It benefits from two glass shelves internally with a single glazed door with gold etching and glass side panels and original brass lock escutcheon which I have carefully cleaned and polished by hand (not spray painted or painted over!). This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order with the original lock and key still working. It has been carefully sanded, restored and hand painted externally in Farrow & Ball's timeless dark and dramatic moody 'Down Pipe' Estate Eggshell and the back lined internally with a sumptuous grey velvet. A fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
Condition:
This piece is in excellent condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 4 coats to ensure a high quality finish.

I gladly accept returns and cancellations. Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £25 to cover card merchant service and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode. Delivery is to ground floor and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to assist with arranging delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully bubble wrapped and blanketed service within Mainland UK for a small surcharge.
