Vintage Painted Gin Cabinet in Little Greene Jewel Beetle, Black Velvet Interior
A stunning vintage glazed bow fronted walnut china/gin display cabinet standing on cabriole legs with two glass shelves and mirrored back. This elegant cabinet is well proportioned and is in very good order with the lock and key. It has been carefully stripped, restored and professionally painted externally in Little Greene Paint Co’s ‘Jewel Beetle' Intelligent Eggshell and internally I have lined the interior with a beautiful contrasting black velvet. This piece would be a fabulous addition to a hallway, dining room, landing or indeed any contemporary room as a display cabinet, china cabinet or drinks cabinet.
Condition:
This piece is in very good condition with no damage to note apart from the minor nicks, dents and previous repairs which are to be expected with vintage and antique pieces and adds to their character. There is a very small nick to one of the shelves; please see photos for details. The door unlocks easily with the key and opens and closes with ease. The glass has all been fully cleaned and polished.
In terms of the finish, I’m not a ‘furniture flipper’; I don’t churn out large quantities of quickly refinished pieces; I spend huge amounts of time and care and on each piece and pour parts of my soul into each item. I specialise in refinishing vintage and antique furniture and I spend hours hand picking each of my pieces locally and I don’t sell anything that I wouldn’t have in my own home. I don’t just slap on a coat of chalk paint on my pieces and call them upcycled - each of my pieces undergoes a lengthy process of restoration and preparation before being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, restored, woodworm treated if there is any sign of historic woodworm, primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 5 coats.

I do accept returns under certain circumstances, however I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected. To avoid disappointment please double check the dimensions and the colour / finish before making your purchase and please do get in touch should you require any further information or clarity.
Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs and arranging courier. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

My third party courier delivers furniture throughout Mainland England & Wales for a flat fee of £59.
Delivery to Mainland Scotland (excluding Highlands) is charged at a flat fee of £89.
For deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, and other remote areas, please contact me for a quote.
All deliveries are subject to a handling fee of £15
