Vintage Painted Upcycled Console Table by Stag in Farrow and Ball Railings

Description:

A handsome vintage solid cherry wood console or hallway table by Stag with brass teardrop handles which I've cleaned and polished by hand (not painted over or replaced!) The table has been carefully stripped, prepared and beautifully hand painted in Farrow and Ball's dark and dramatic 'Railings' Modern Eggshell. This piece would be a stunning addition for any contemporary room.

Condition:

This piece is in excellent clean and tidy condition and there is no notable damage apart from the customary minor knocks, dents and cracks which are to be expected with antique and vintage pieces. I don't just slap on a coat of chalk paint and call it upcycled - each of my pieces undergo a lengthy process of preparation and restoration being painstakingly stripped, cleaned, woodworm treated if there are any signs of historic woodworm, and primed and undercoated before painting a minimum of 3/4 coats to ensure a high quality finish. I don't distress our pieces, they will naturally distress over time with general wear and tear, like all furniture.

  • RETURN & REFUND POLICY

    I gladly accept returns and cancellations: I do accept returns under certain circumstances, however I do not accept returns if you decide on receipt of your item that the size isn't right or doesn't suit your space, or if the colour isn't as you expected. To avoid disappointment please double check the dimensions and the colour / finish before making your purchase and please do get in touch should you require any further information or clarity.

    Cancellations are subject to a cancellation charge of £50 to cover card merchant services and admin fees. If a courier has been booked and paid for the full cost of delivery charge will be paid by the customer (courier charges are 50% subsidised by Yellow Pigeon Bespoke Furniture):

    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

    • Custom or personalised orders
    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
    • Digital downloads
    • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
    • Items on sale

    Conditions of return

    Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

    Shipping:

    I aim to provide a personal service as far as possible and I am pleased to offer free delivery with this piece in person via our own 'Pigeon Post' with a fully blanketed service to 100 mile radius of SY7 8QG postcode.  I offer delivery to ground floor / doorstep depending upon your COVID Tier and I shall be in touch directly after your purchase to arrange a suitable delivery date. If you are located outside of my 100 mile radius, I would be delighted to arrange delivery via a third party furniture courier with a fully blanketed service to Mainland UK for a small surcharge.  To avoid disappointment please contact me with your post code for an indicative quote and timeframe if you are located outside of this radius.
